The Vineyard
Planted in 2010, our vineyard consists of Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvedre. In 2012, the vineyard was expanded to include Tempernillo as well as more Cabernet Sauvignon. The terrian is unique and is a mixture of sandy, gravel loam with a touch of clay and is considered deep soil. It is planted on soil that six generations of Baxter's have cultivated and worked. Carrying on the tradition, the vineyard is planted with care from the current family members, ensuring quality. The vineyard also has an abandoned railroad track from the late 1800's going through the middle of it making each grape rich in history.
